Based in New York’s Hudson Valley, Small Goods is the furniture and wood-turning studio of RISD graduate Sam Shippee. Sam aims to find the areas between the masculine and feminine, understatement and lavishness, the old and new, the simple and decorative. Small Goods is investigating the subtle nuances of beauty to create objects that are as durable as they are functional as they are intriguing.
